1. Introduction
By using SnapRenew, you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, these terms and conditions.
2. Agreement to Terms and Conditions
This Agreement takes effect on the date you first use the SnapRenew application.
3. Description of Service
SnapRenew is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to restore, enhance, colorize, and repair photos. Certain features require consumable in-app credits.
4. License and Usage
The SnapRenew app is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app’s functionalities as provided, subject to these terms. SnapRenew retains the right to terminate or restrict your access to the app at any time without prior notice if these terms are violated.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all photos you upload to SnapRenew. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your photos solely for the purpose of performing the restoration you request. We do not claim any ownership over your original or restored images.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile the app
- Use automated systems to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Resell or redistribute restored images produced by the service for commercial purposes without proper rights to the original content
7. Credits, Purchases, and Refunds
- SnapRenew uses consumable in-app credits for photo transformations. The required credit cost is shown in the app.
- Credit bundles are digital goods, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.
- If you delete your account or your account is otherwise terminated, any unused credits remaining in that account are forfeited and cannot be restored, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
- Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play (with RevenueCat used for purchase and credit sync infrastructure).
- SnapRenew does not currently offer auto-renewing subscription plans for credits.
- Monetary purchase refunds are managed by the store where you made the purchase (Apple or Google) under that store’s billing and refund rules.
- For qualifying failed transformations where credits were charged, SnapRenew may automatically return the spent credits to your in-app balance. This is a service credit reversal, not a cash refund.
- We may update credit bundle pricing, packaging, and transformation credit costs from time to time. Changes apply prospectively as communicated in-app or as otherwise required by law.
8. Platform Terms
When you use SnapRenew through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store terms, billing terms, and platform rules also apply to your use of purchases made through that platform.
9. Disclaimer
SnapRenew does not warrant that the app will meet your specific requirements or that its operation will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI restoration results may vary depending on the quality and condition of the original photo. All express and implied warranties not stated in this Agreement are excluded to the maximum extent allowed by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
SnapRenew is not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses or damages arising from the app’s use, including but not limited to loss of data or any interruption of service. You acknowledge that AI-generated restorations are approximations and may not perfectly represent the original subject matter.
11. Privacy
Your use of SnapRenew is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
12. General Terms and Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa. You acknowledge that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and SnapRenew as a result of your use of these services.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SnapRenew after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
